...So when can I buy my RoboProm ticket for Atlanta?

Thanks a lot for the comment! We were really happy about our performance and particularly our alliance. BIG thanks to our alliance partners 1332 and 2996, we couldn't have done it without you. The communication between the coaches throughout the matches was amazing and we were definitely in-sync.

As for Roboprom... it is definitely in the works and we should have a post up in a week or so regarding tickets.

On behalf of all of the organizers and volunteers of the 2009 Colorado Regional, I want to thank all of the teams that attended our Regional. We were all impressed with how well the teams dealt with the weather and scheduling issues. There was an abundance of gracious professionalism throughout the Regional and we had a great competition! Thanks again and we hope to see you again next year. Let's have fewer snow wishes next year though ;)

Glad to see someone remembers! I was talking to a few of your members in San Diego, and it seems I couldn't find any seniors - or something. Philly was I think my -favorite- regional, no joke. It was awesome, even though we lost due to a broken banebots gearbox =( that sucked! But I loved the energy, and if you can remember, we're a pretty energetic team =)

And Barry, we'll be hosting a RoboProm now that we qualified.. More details will be posted soon..ish! =)

Oh! One more thing. HUGE congrats to team 2996 considering you guys had what, 8 trophies sitting on your table at the end of the day? it was a regional to remember! your team is awesome. Compliments to your student coach, I really like him. I'm not sure I ever got to compliment him after we were done, but... yeah. Your drive team was great to work with! =p Your team will go far, I can't wait to see you guys in a few years. Keep up the good work.

I'll pass on the message to our coach.

But HUGE thanks to Team 399 and Team 1332. We couldn't have won if we weren't chosen in the alliance, and considering our bad luck and low standing at the end of the qualifying rounds, I didn't think we would be chosen. But we ended up being chosen by the #1 seeded alliance! We could not have done it without you! You made our rookie year that much more amazing!

Hey, thanks Bob and Brad! It was a really great experience being there, and, in my opinion, possibly the best way to start off a rookie year :). It was AMAZING competing with 399 and 1332. Both were excellent teams, and it was an honor competing with you. My only complaints about the entire experience are that I'm STILL subconsciously afraid of meeting new people and that I somehow managed to get sick just in time for Thursday.

Oh, quick question. What in the world is this RoboProm I keep hearing about?

EDIT: Interesting tidbit I just remembered about the snow this last weekend. My dad's on El Paso county search and rescue, and early Thursday morning, EPCSAR sent out an email saying that if you were going into Denver that day, don't plan on coming back out that day. And it would seem they were quite right.

Dawn,
I just want to say what an outstanding job the organizers and volunteers did during a somewhat rough start on the first day. It was a little white out there. The regional was very well done and our team had a great time. Very few delays and we all managed to get quite a few matches in during our shortened time. Derek and the field crew did a great job, I was really please not to have so many problems that plagued other regionals. Thank you all for the "warm" welcome. IT was great!
