Out of curiosity, what is this thread about? Is this like fantasy baseball? And if so, what constitutes the terms for ranking the "lowest" teams? 1339 has spent three seasons of FIRST competitions with determined kids doing themselves, their sponsors and our school proud with their efforts. I'm sure the other teams you've ranked have similar stories.

They were randomized.

There is no disrespect intended to any of the teams not drafted or drafted lower than other teams. The scoring is based on point values awarded for wins, losses and the various awards.

Teams that have consistently had winning records and earned awards are the teams that will be rated higher by the drafters and thus selected earlier. This does not mean that they are accomplishing the mission of FIRST any better than your team or any other team, it just means that theyu are more likely to score more points in this game.

Thanks for the response and the link. I've never played fantasy anything, so I don't really get it. I'll try not to be so sensitive!

This league is a bit more intense than others because we all draft for EVERY regional. When the build season is over and competition season comes near, I am sure there will be more leagues for individual regionals. We invite you to play with us! It's easiest to start with 1 regional leagues that involve teams you may be familiar with such as the Colorado Regional. Your guess who will be good this year is just as good as ours, and most of us (perhaps all?) have never been to Denver, so you may even have an advantage. Best of luck on your season, make us wish we had picked your team!
