SOMEONE couldn't wait to see what Santa brought them! :D

But I will give a pre-emptive Merry Christmas to everyone on CD, since I'm not likely to be on tomorrow. As well as a Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, and any other winter holiday you may be celebrating!

Merry Christmas everyone.

A story for the season:

One day about two years ago, I was out bell ringing. I was running late and did not think about dressing for the weather. I was freezing out there without a coat or gloves. After about 2-3 hours, a lady came up and gave me a pair of gloves and a hat. She saw me when she went into the store and decided to buy me something to keep me warm. Now, whenever this season rolls around, I always think of the sweet old lady that knew the meaning of Christmas.

'Twas the night before kickoff, when all through the land
Everyone was a buzz over what Dean had planned;
The trackballs were set on the overpass with care,
and poof balls were flying all through the air;

Old robots were sitting alone and forgotten
Thinking of Opahs, and Game Hints that we have gotten.
Zambonies in Paramount, and green fields in Dover
long and hard we have searched for answers all over.

When out from the CAD room I heard such a sound
But at this early hour who’d be around?
Away from the metal shop flew with a flash,
To see what had made the horrible crash.

Computer screens giving an eerie green glow
All of them open to the new LabVIEW Pro
When, what to my wondering eyes should I see,
But Dean Kamen, Woodie Flowers, and Dave Lavery.

Kamen said, “But quick before the build season starts,
we should give them all brand new controller parts.”
Some Lexan! A joystick! Aluminum alloy!
A camera! New CIM motors! They’ll be filled with such joy!

Dean sprang from his workshop, to the GDC gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, when he drove his Stirling out of sight,

"Happy Season to all, and to all a good-night."

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone.

Today please think of all our men and women who are serving over sea's and are not with their families right now.

And on a closer note, don't forget the Fire Fighters, EMT's, Paramedics and Police officers that are working today to keep you safe.
Its not a bad idea to stop by your local Fire Dept and drop off some cookies :)
