Re: Source for pool noodles
We got ours in April for our robot this year. Good luck finding any in Wisconsin stores this time of year. .
What we did last year is found a family that had some in their garage from the previous Pool Season that were in good condition. Cheaper way then trying to find an online source because of the shipping bill. |
Re: Source for pool noodles
This time of year, your best bet is ebay. Just search for pool noodles and check out the stores - the noodles seem to be going for about $3 a piece, but shipping is high.
To save the headache next year, stock up next summer when they are in stores. |
Re: Source for pool noodles
I have been able to find them in the local hottub store in January. It is minus 25 C this time of year and they still have them.:D

Re: Source for pool noodles
I got ours at the local Dollar General store at $1 a piece.

Didn't Walmart used to sell those?

I have bought them several times from http://pooltoy.com/waternoodle.html and will probably be doing so again this year, since I forgot to grab a bunch when they were on clearance at the dollar store last fall. O yeah, they are on sale right now for $3.95 each on the web site, too. They also have cases of 20, both hollow and solid, on sale right now if you have a couple of teams in your area that want to go in on some. |
Re: Source for pool noodles
Here's a good site to get a large number of noodles for relatively cheap:

Re: Source for pool noodles
Just visit a local pool/spa supply company (the ones where you buy chemicals and the like). Most of these stores also have pool accesories (including noodles), and some are open all year round. We've been able to easily find pool noodles at these stores in the middle of winter in Connecticut.
// Disclaimer: you will get really odd looks walking into a pool store in February and buying a dozen pool noodles. |
Re: Source for pool noodles
I would look for local pool supply stores. But certainly they should be less than $3. each:
