Signal to the victor

Hi,

My team and I are currently trying the new cRIO control system. Unfortunately we are experiencing a problem. We are programming the control system with labview and the Victor 884 isn't receiving any signal. All the system is correctly connected, I think, the program is correctly transfered but the victor doesn't receive any signal, the light keeps flashing orange.

Here's a screenshot of my program. http://img523.imageshack.us/my.php?i...ooting1sd0.jpg

What does your DS say ? (disabled/enabled) (no code/ no comms/ 00.00V ? )

Are all the lights flashing on the game adapter, cRio, router, PD board ?

To get the most useful help, attach a picture of how the system is connected. There's a strangely common tendency for people to mistakenly connect the speed controller's PWM cable to Digital I/O pins on the Digital Sidecar.

1318 experienced this problem, though our situation might be different from yours.

We put an updated image (v9) on our cRIO and it worked fine with one laptop, but we had forgotten to install the LabVIEW updates on another laptop, and found it could not do anything.

We installed the LabVIEW update on the second laptop, and everything worked fine.

Another plausible explanation is you've connected it to the wrong sidecar. The cRIO can have two, and the channels default to being on the one in slot 3 (i think)
