<G14> + Random number Generator
Two teams play together and their alliance violated <G14> in match #14, and to add insult to injury they actually scored more than 3x the amount of the opposing alliance.
The random number generator, reading in white noise through the audio input from the galaxies light years away as a seed for the numbers, had crunched out a marvelous fate for these two teams: Their next match is #21. they are playing together. a riddle for you: how many super cells can their alliance hope to score in that match? -Leav |
Re: <G14> + Random number Generator
Answer: it depends on where they place their Payload Specialists.
It also depends on whether or not they rely on the Super Cells--if not, they won't care enough to enter Empty Cells. With careful positioning, the alliance can score up to two Super Cells--the other two will have been removed either as Super Cells or as Empty Cells. If they are not careful, they will have no Super Cells. |

Re: <G14> + Random number Generator
If I am correct then each team has a payload specialist.
This could be interpreted as: if your team's payload specialist is in the outpost thing - they take an empty cell. if your team's payload specialist is behind the drivers plexi - they take a super cell. or as: if your alliance racked up a <G14> from two teams tripling the score then they take away empty cells or super cells in a what ever way they want. I agree that the first is probably true, but the rules are somewhat ambiguous on the matter in my opinion. -Leav |
Re: <G14> + Random number Generator
Cells are taken away from a Team based on their previous match score. If your Team has no Super Cells, they can't take them away from you - they will take Empty Cells from your Team.

Now look at it from the other stand point. We all know how amazing the algorithm is for matching teams.;) Imagine that the first match is with teams 1,2,3 v 4,5,6 1,2,3, win by over 3x the score. Their next match is 1,5,6 v 4,2,3 1,5,6 would have 2 missing game pieces even though 6 lost by the 3x score 4,2,3 would have 4 missing game pieces even though team 4 lost by the 3x score. What would happen if for some reason team 4 ended up in this situation 6/10 matches for them. How fair is it to them to be down the 4 game pieces in 6 of their matches and they have been on the losing end of the stick? Just something i was thinking of. |

Re: <G14> + Random number Generator
I'm pretty sure you can, I can't recall any rule that says that if the Payload Specialist misses, the other team can't pick it up and score themselves.

Re: <G14> + Random number Generator
Yup, I'm too late... it's 6. Of course, this is assuming they don't get rid of <G14> tomorrow, which they won't do, but boy it would be nice :D
And menace101, who are you? I'm shocked to see someone from 840 here :yikes: |
