Re: "reloading" the Outpost
<G21> penalizes the PS for throwing an Empty Cell over the Outpost shield.

So we've established that the PS in the Outpost can only introduce Empty Cells through the port, but nowhere does it say that the robot has to be on the other side of the port receiving the Empty Cell. I'm assuming this is allowed, then, unless anyone can find a restriction somewhere else in the game rules... |

I am fairly certain that the outpost will not receive more balls at any point within the round. Balls will be returned to the fuel station only.

Actually, per G21, it is NOT a penalty for the PS at the fueling station to re-enter the empty cell onto the field. It is only illegal to throw them over the OUTPOST wall.

I was under the impression that you could choose which cells you lost in a penalty (in which case it would be beneficial to lose an empty cell, then a supercell, alternating) |

Here's a bad day for you: a robot didn't show up, and the trailer was the one by the outpost. EVERY moon rock from the outpost went in, and then all four of the empty cells went in through the hole. 48 points. Little effort. Is this what YOU want to have happen to YOU? |

And, make sure your PS knows what the colored bars on the display mean. Yellow means you lose 1 cell. Orange, 2 cells. There was a PS at the regional I went to who wanted the Empty Cells that had been removed from the Outpost back. He apparently did not remember <G14>, and how it applied. (Another PS, on finding that his team had a <G14>, apparently told his Commander, "Don't do that again.") |
