Did anyone else get a video card?
 

So today while looking for our Axis camera I ran across something interesting in our control tray, namely some sort of Nvidia video card. Even more strangley, it was not listed on the KOP checklist. After asking several people "Did you leave your video card in the controls box?", we decided that it must have accidentally come with the KOP, and we're trying to figure out what kind it is. Have any other teams recieved a surprise like this in their KOP?

Wow thats random. Anyone know why it was shipped in those kits. I wouldnt mind an extra 7600 to come in our kits. lol.

Since both the teams that got it are from CA, I have a feeling that they may have attended the same kickoff, and it was probably added at the local event. Local sponsor, perhaps?

We attended the San Jose kickoff and received that same graphics card.

Yea the handed out video cards and tool-kits to all the teams at San Jose kickoff. Platt also handed out tool-kits to teams at the SVR regional last year. The video cards are new, it was actually a Rookie team (3k+) that got Nvidia to do that. They asked for video cards for their CAD computers and Nvidia said they will do one better and get cards for every team at San Jose. It was really cool our main CAD computer now has one of them in it. I can't remember the team number of this rookie team but Thanks!
