2009 traverse city district

No tread on it so I'll start it...

Team 2604 will be there
Who's coming?

I'm bringing this thread back to life, after being disappointed that there wasn't one higher up.

A practice day would be amazing, we want to test our drivers with more than two robots on the field. And 120 balls helps too :)

Apparently you can get on the field Thursday night during the time you can get into the pits to get inspected and what not... So maybe we can get some real practice in...

1918 is bagged and ready.

Thursday evening practice would be great - is that for real? That would be worth leaving home a bit earlier for. We were just planning to get the pit set up get the robot inspected so we could take best advantage of the Friday am practice.

Question - Does any time out of the bag on Thursday evening count against our 8 hour practice window? If so, then we need to make sure to leave some time on our "clock".

I hope everything goes well in TC - it is a new venue, new game, new robot control system, new field control system, many new people in charge. We all need to do whatever we can to help make it a great success.

See you there!

Thanks to Pat Major for bringing the field, and thanks to all the people in TC who are hosting us.

I will be sure to tell my mentors about this newfound practice time. Our drivers didn't get much practice time as is, so this would be great time for them to get a better feel for the robot.

And I sure hope it doesn't count towards our "Bag Time". We technically are at the event so I imagine they wouldn't count it because they would have to count Friday morning practice also. But who knows...

Anyone feel like emailing FIM? :D

Team 85 would like to thank team 2645 and team 247 for being great alliance partners throughout the finals. It was a pleasure to be a part of such an awesome alliance.

Also, a big congratulations to teams 1918, 904, and 2188 for being regional finalists. It was great to compete against three spectacular opponents. The finals were three of the closest matches I have ever seen.

Well that was a lot of fun :) I can't wait for Detroit!

We would also like to thank Team 123 and Team 2612 for being amazing alliance partners. Without you guys we would have never had made it that far. I can't wait to see 2612 at Detroit with us.

Congratulations to all the teams that participated, everyone did a fantastic job this weekend!

Team 2771 wishes to thank the TC District event organizers and volunteers. We thoroughly enjoyed our first ever FIRST competition and are grateful to the many, many teams offering support and encouragement.

Thanks to our friends at Creston, Team 904, for the programming help and the support over the last several weeks. Thanks to 85 for scoring a boatload of points against us. :) You've got an amazing robot, and a great team there BOB.

Team 703, the Phoenix, chose us an alliance partner, and taught us a lot about scouting and game strategy. We are blown away by your intense desire to compete while being gracious and joyful in the process. Thank you 703!

Go 49!

What a great event, and congratulations to the District Finalists and Champions, and our hats are off to TC District and FIRST Michigan.
