Motor and TIMS questions
 

1) when uploading the "Motor Control Example" file, supposedly to make it work, it doesnt work, the motors dont spin they make no noise, nothing spins at all, am i doing something wrong?


2) Can we change our robots name and our team name. when we came up with the names not everyone was there and now people don't like the name/robot name. can we change it and if so, wats the deadline? this is saying can we change the name and have FIRST recognize it. does FIRST let you change the team/robot name

again any help would be greatly appreciated

Step 1: Make the title of your post more descriptive, so people who CAN help will have a clue that you need that specific help.

Step 2: I am not sure if that first statement is a statement or a question. What is it you want to know? (BTW, if this is a programming question, it might be better asked in the - you guessed it - programming forum)

Step 3: You can change your team name any time, but there was a deadline (not sure when) for "officially" changing it in TIMS (and it may be too late 'officially'). But, consider such a radical thing carefully. Ditto the robot name and TIMS, but the robot name isn't such a major thing. We usually don't pick a robot name until after ship date. At the very worst, bring the change to the attention of the organizers at the regional, they can call you whatever you want.
