Sample C/C++ Programs
 

We are a rookie team from St. Paul Mn. We have tested our chassis and wheels with the bench test programs and things work well(Tank/arcade modes). The next step believe is to get a sample program in C/C++ and load it into Wind River so that we can down load it the Control system. Is there some sample C source code out there that we can get to do this step?

If you create a new project in WindRiver, select "Example...".

There are a few different FRC examples in there (everything from bare bones to projects that track the vision target and have autonomous modes).

Starting on page 13, it runs you through setting up your environment (pg 14), getting some starter/sample code (pg 18), building (pg 20) and finally downloading to the cRio (pg 21).

Our team found the instructions there pretty easy to follow and complete!
