Brooms from the Dollar General + band saw + PVC + screws = rotary brushes. We're doing something a *little* more sophisiticated on the actual robot...

...and on the robot itself we're using a wine barrel, not a garbage can. (We are, after all, the Grapes of Wrath -- and Naples, NY is famous for its wine production!)

I really like how simple yet effective the prototype is. Exactly the sort of engineering FIRST needs more of.

How will your robot shoot with the little space left. I know many powerhouse teams had robots similar to this in Aim High year. However they had a shooter on top. Are you planning on shooting the balls?

We had a member bring up this idea too, but we decided to skip it because it didn't really fit well with the way we want to shoot the balls.
