Help requesting replacement parts
Somehow or another, we fried one of the ethernet ports on our driver station and we need to order a new one. However, I can't seem to find where one is supposed to order new parts. I searched the First website but can't find it. I would really appreciate it if someone could link me to the ordering site or give instructions. Thanks.

AndyMark is the supplier for many motion parts and the control system. In this case, you want http://store.andymark.biz/am-0269.html

Re: Help requesting replacement parts
Does FIRST offer a warranty if it never worked (that ethernet port never worked to begin with)

Re: Help requesting replacement parts
oddly we got a control system that has the same problem- and let to much anguish in the installation of programs
I wonder if this is common? |

Re: Help requesting replacement parts
The ports on the driver station are connected with an ethernet switch to the internal workings of the unit. (The two ports are effectively equivalent.) It might be possible to duplicate that function externally, with an off-the-shelf switch (or maybe even a properly-configured router).
Just don't fry the other port in the process. |
