Wires Legal?

OK so if you read through the rules you would notice that it says that all wires except copper wires but if you notice, the PMW wires are aluminum so the big question is are these legal?

PWM wires are explicitly allowed in various places (say, <R43>, <R54>, and the big one, <R62>). Are you sure they're aluminum?

Could be tin plated copper? Hint: if you can solder them, they're not aluminum

Re: Wires Legal?

Aluminum wire is not available in #24 except by special order and it would be very expensive. As Jim has mentioned above, the wire is tin plated copper. The tin is the shiny silver color. If you scrape the wire with a knife, the copper will be revealed.
