Holding of Game-Pieces Outside the Robot Perimeter

(In Lunacy2009) We know that no part of the robot should pass the Robot-Perimeter but how about Game-Pieces (MoonRocks, for example)? If our Robot holds them in some way - can they be out side the maximum height/width/depth of the robot or outside its perimeter (partly or fully)?

thanks ahead :]

As long as your robot stays within the perimeter it should be fine since moon rocks are not considered part of your robot.

And I was sure it had been discussed on CD before, but I can't find a thread by searching.
