Can it handle a hit? With all that open space it looks a little weak even with bumpers.

Controled Flexablity is always good. Remember ductil not brittle.

This is an example of a team that KNOWS how to turn out a quality product. I'm confident it will be extremely well designed.

Those plates look like they were all milled and not waterjetted.

Your poor machinist

Looks pretty sweet.

It is a sweet chasi but it weighs almost 25 pounds isn't that a bit heavy for just the chasi... i don't know but i think i would put that weight into other things.

That may be true but machining out plates is a lot harder than doing 1x2 tubes. We have a router (thatz why probably) and are those sides waterjetted or Cnc'd. Just wanting an official word from the team Cory. Also most teams don't have a CNC and a 12 hour day is a lot for a FIRST team. On the brighter note, that chassis is so sick!!!!:ahh: :ahh: :ahh: :ahh: .

Almost definitely milled. the pockets are far too smooth/shiny for a waterjetted surface.

a nice big tank of Nos would solve that weight problem lol. (be warned, not an actual idea, just an idiotic comment made for public humor)
