The cuts were only partially deburred so they were safe to handle. The team was really excited about getting the robot together and driving last night.

what spindle speed did you have that at. unless yours is like ours (only 500 rpm) then you should either spin it faster or move it slower. saves on time

speeds and feeds my friends

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speeds_and_feeds

worst comes to worst
run it slow(table speed) and at like 1200 rpm on the spindle
remember it's cnc so there no race to get it done, stick a green horn in front of it and tell them to hit the estop if things get exciting

If you want we have a speed and feed calculator on our site, posted here. Just scroll down a bit. Also on a CNC you have to go fast, why? Cause itz season, time is money. LOL. Need any help on the CNC let me know, our whole bot is CNC'd (New Word, invented it).

A belt sander or fly cutter could get rid of a majority of those burrs

the face your seeing has not been deburred.

did i go a little fast...yes i did...does it matter to me...nope.. :D

We are having some issues with the mill and CAM software not communicating very well. Have been trying to fix the issue with the company...but until then...its guess and check.
