cRIO memory loss
when i transmit the basic motor control from our laptop to the cRIO, everything works fine until i turn the power off on the control system (not the laptop) , when i turn the power back on it's like our cRIO has memory loss and forgets what i told it to do moments ago. can anyone help me? what am i doing wrong?

it sounds like you are just temporary deploying the code. If you are using labview and just clicking the start button that code will be gone when you reboot.
You need to deploy your code to make it stay on your c-rio. You can follow directions on the NI documentation located here. http://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-2663 |

i tried to make the program a stand alone program so that it would stay on the cRIO, but when i try to deploy the program it says that there was a naming collision and even when i try to go to the source file settings and change the names, i get the same results, what should i do?

You need to undeploy your project before deploying or downloading a new version. In WindRiver, this is done by going to FIRST->Undeploy. I don't recall how to do it in LabView, but I'm sure somebody will chime in with the answer.

i'm using labview, how do i undeploy? and when i am building too it says that there is a name collision
