Missing URL for update
 

I need to do some of the updates for the WindRiver programming and I realized that in the manual for the software downloads it says that the update for the WPILib requires a particular URL that needs to be activated. However, it says that this URL is "coming soon". Does anyone know what the URL would be or is this update not mandatory? Thank you very much.

It's optional.
I believe you are thinking of the WPI source release. That source isn't needed, because you are already running with the object library built from that source. The source is available if you want to see how things work and if you want to create your own variations and improvements.

The only mandatory updates are those linked from the usfirst.org/frccontrolsystem page.
