They will probably choose like they did it last year. (aka invitational)

Everyone interested should apply.

There is a process we go thru to determine the teams, but it as many variables.

And, we are going to do it a little different this year to avoid some problems with the past few years process.

More later.

If Team 1094 is selected, Fish Boy will be honored to serve for the 4th year in a row.

To the powers that be, a suggestion for rule change. During auto don't let ps shoot but make balls scored by bot alittle extra. Give programmers something to shoot for during off season.(bad pun)

EXCELLENT Idea ... however I don't know how difficult it would be to integrate that change into the scoring system.

I like this idea (mainly because it helps limit the mess of balls on the floor from overexuberant PS's early in the match), but to be fair, I'd make sure PS's were still permitted to human load their bots in auto.

Make Orbit Balls equal double. (Or Triple, or Quadruple, or etc...)
Just have scorers double the count of every ball scored at the end of Auto (Or Triple, or Quadruple, or etc...)
(Ie: A team scored 5 balls, put 10, 15, 20, etc. in the scoring hand-helds.)
-Shouldn't be that hard to track, & even if some team(s) have insane amounts scored that come into question, just count them real quick (manually) during the break between Auto & Tele-op - Could delay a match a minute or so, but if teams are (repeatedly) scoring sucessfully in Auto-mode by the IRI rolls around (which I would like to see teams aim for), it's worth it.

One advantage of moving to SW Michigan is that I am slightly closer to IRI. :)

It all sounds good, but there's the whole problem of MRI being trademarked...

I'm already getting excited about IRI. I mean, how can you not get excited about seeing pigs getting kissed, first rate teams from across the globe, enhanced rule sets, and most of all Albert the Road Barrel?

I third the request to have more heavily weighted scoring in auto as long as balls are not scored directly by human players.

See you all at BMR,

I really want to try to make it out to IRI this year. It's been something I wanted to do since I was a freshman.

Maybe we'll see some awesome Game change like.... CARPET!

I know the guys in Indiana have already thought about it....
