If I remember right we had 1038 over the past two years (don't remember very well from '06) but I don't believe theyre comming to IRI this year.

Hmmm...

I think the kids would string me up if we didn't go.

They are already asking me about it. So we will be there, as long as we get accepted.

Sounds like Florida is gonna be sending up some heat this year. That is if those Midwest teams don't get scared and not accept us. :yikes: (jk)

Krunch and Bacon together?! For around 15 hours! I think Coach would go crazy! But for us, it would be a blast!

man, we love IRI... I think they also factor in previous winners to the worthiness to come.

just a tip, lay off the horn on Albert this year, that got aggravating in the pits

might be an interesting time coming down this year if we get accepted (hope we do), then again the students had to foot the bill last year and we went without our team leader(he went on a motorcycle trip to alaska with his wife, that made her happy considering she almost never sees him during the build season). was a fun supprise for him when we won! (thanks 67 for picking us :D (i would also thank the other teams on our allience but i cant remember their #'s (sorry)))

oh and the other teams afraid of us Midwest teams, im gonna agree with lenny8 and say that you should show us up!

Well, I can definitely say we're crossing our fingers for a good showing at Grand Valley. As Looking Forward said, we're right on the bubble, and that's a scary place to be. Maybe a regional win and a good showing at Michigan Champs will get us invited to IRI :P

All you need is some sharks to stir up the waters!!:D But wouldn't a bus ride to Indiana take more like 30 hours? Jacksonville is like 7 hours, right?

According to Google maps it is a little over 17 hrs to the school from West Palm Beach Fl. Its only 1150 miles :p (Google may be a little optimistic though)

1150 (Which can be rearranged to spell 1501! WOOT!!!) miles divided by an average of say 60 mph equals a ~19.1666666666666... hr ride
