Where'd you hear this? No one told me... I mean, if someone needs an experienced driver for IRI I'm all in. :D

How many qualification rounds can we expect? and when/where can we get the schedule?

Match schedules will be available Friday morning, passed out to teams as they register in the foyer area. We will have 8 matches per team, figuring that we run a 6.4 minute cycle time from match to match.

YIKES! 6.4 minute cycles! Kudos to the field crew if they can stay on time with 6.4 minute cycles.

Will the match schedule be posted online or available somehow in digital format?

IRI attracts top notch volunteers.
I'm confident they can pull it off.

If I recall correctly, we pulled off 6.x second cycles at the MI Championships (x less than 5). There were even some who were pushing to schedule 5.5 seconds. This caliber of teams and volunteers can handle it easily. Especially with that ^ volunteer.

One of the things that can slow down things worst is an announcer/MC. Keep the introductions on track, and you can make up time from an occasional slow round. But if you have a slow announcer or MC, you constantly lose time. (I don't know who's doing it at IRI.)

Anyone know the cycle time at the Boilermaker?

If I recall correctly, they were flying through the matches.

Pittsburgh was moving pretty quickly too. I'd like to think I helped with that on the field reset side of things and will be continuing to do so this weekend.

You'll see some familiar faces from the Boilermaker Regional volunteering at IRI, so the 6.4 min turn around doesn't surprise me a bit.

We've got a couple other guys too...

Stu Bloom as head ref

Mark Koors as FTA (aka: the cleaner)

Mark will keep us near a 6 minute cycle time. The key for this year's game is the correct # of field reset people.
