1793 week 4 1/2
After few weeks of designing, prototyping, and holding stuff up to the frame, we have attached our first fully mechanized ...thing... that isn't a wheel on a toughbox.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DOs4mdX-zk There's a pretty good line at about 1:50. |

that looks quite familiar...maybe a little bit like our accumulator...I hope you guys are going to do something to prevent the orbit balls from getting into your drive train.
good luck guys! |
Re: 1793 week 4 1/2
What happens next in your design?
|
Re: 1793 week 4 1/2
Phase 1: collect orbit balls
Phase 2: Phase 3: score Any questions? |

Re: 1793 week 4 1/2
Very nice video...enjoyed watching it tremendously!
Way to go and good luck in your season and competitions! |
Re: 1793 week 4 1/2
"Phase 3: Profit!"
That's even less likely than scoring, FIRST is a non-profit organization after all. There is a hint to the design in the video description... |
Re: 1793 week 4 1/2
The amazing part?
A team here has managed it... 1. Make orbit ball kits 2. ??? 3. Profit!!! |
