help. Does anyone know how to program a limit switch in labview. I have the limit switch hooked up to digital io port 2 i want to program it so that i can stop power to a motor. help:confused: :confused:

I can't help with the labview part, but did you know that you can hook a limit switch directly to a jaguar controller - no programming involved? (Assuming you are using a jaguar, of course)

Limit switches are not illegal, but connecting them to the Jaguars limit switch inputs is for this year.

For an example, look at the compressor code. The pressure switch is effectively a limit switch, just operated by air pressure.

Try This

Connect the joystick to all three joystick in connectors. Select their DIO port used for the limit switches. Connect speed to set_motor speed
