Congratulations! Whether you win or not - compiling a Chairman's Award entry is rewarding because it lets the students who work on it build valuable business and media skills. Moreover, it helps to focus your entire teams' efforts and lets you reflect on just how much you accomplished over the course of a year.

I know that I always have my head buried in the robot all season. But then somebody hands me our Chairman's essay and I am always blown away by the things we have done. It really helps put everything back in perspective.

You are definitely making a smart decision.

Dawgma Team 1712 will be submitting at the DC Regional this year.
