Battery voltage

We are recently facing a huge problem-indicating the battery voltage.
On the DS it shows 00.00V
the analog breakout is not lighthing:
*the wire is connect to the write place
*we used the right type of AWG,amp breaker
*the +/- charges are right
we even try the new analog breakout
We ran out of thought
so any idea of how to fix the analog?
Thanks

Re: Battery voltage

Did you install the jumper on the analog breakout?

We fixed this problem. You have to replace your cRIO image. Everytime the software is updated, the cRIO image must be updated as well, or you will run into this problem. You go to the CompactRIO Imaging Tool.

Hope this helps.

Sounds like the Analog Breakout is not getting power. If you are sure that the wires are running to and from the correct places there is one more big thing to check. You have to make sure that the Wago terminals are grabbing onto the wire only and not the insulation. This appears to be a common problem with these new terminals.

Let's not accidentally blame the terminals themselves. It's more of a problem with people not carefully following the directions for how many millimeters of wire to strip.

I love the terminals, although my post does sound a bit like I'm blaming them. What I meant was more along the lines of the fact that the terminals are new and people haven't figured out all the ins and outs of them yet.

Ideally everyone would read and follow all the directions, but we all know that in practice this is not always the case.
