R54- can we use a limit switch to directly cut the motor power (bypassing the programming)?

R26- unclear whether we can program after ship day...

<R54> is pretty clear--if you're going to cut the power, you have to do it via a PWM or relay. Also see <R67> and <R44>. You can't use that limit switch for that purpose. You can program it to do that, but you can't do it without the programming.

<R26> is also pretty clear. I quote the last paragraph:

That isn't part of <R26>. Also, "approved periods" this year is covered in <R26-B>: "There is no limit to the amount of time that may be put into this effort, other than via the realities of the calendar."

In other words, there isn't a contradiction.
