Camera not working...
I am one of the programmers from team #1495 and have been experiencing issues with our camera. When we test it using the TwoColorTrack program the camera is able to find the pink and green with ease. However the camera does not following the colors when moved. The servos are in the right ports and we can't seem to find the problem with it. Can anyone help?

Re: Camera not working...
are you sure that the camera is calibrated so it isn't picking up all the shades of green in the room? if it isn't then it could quite easily see the colors yet get confused as to what to track in the room.

Re: Camera not working...
What I mean is the camera does not move AT ALL. It stays completley still.

Re: Camera not working...
Did you install the servo jumpers on the digital sidecar?
Are you using c++ or LabVIEW? If using LabVIEW, be sure to enable gimbal tracking. |
Re: Camera not working...
So the camera works fine, and the servos don't. Here are some things to look at. Make sure the channel numbers match your HW. Make sure that they are connected to the DIO in module 4, or change the diagram to use slot 6.
Next make sure that the jumpers are wired next to the PWM channels being used. Make sure you have power to the DIO sidecar. Make sure the light to on the sidecar is not blinking. Reasons it may blink include no DS, a disabled DS, no code running on the cRIO. Once these are corrected, you should have working servos and a fully working example Greg McKaskle |
