LABVIEW CODES NOT SAVING!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
i have a few questions:
1. should i be putting my code in basic robot main?
2. if not, what should my custom .VI absolutely have and what should i wire the end loop too?
3. in general what must my program have?

If you're not in the mood for a 2.5 hour video, I found that just playing around with LabView helped me learn the basics.

As to your first question, well... sort of...

I think this is how it goes:
Your tele-operated code goes into Basic Robot Main.vi
Your autonomous code goes into Autonomous Independence.vi

But yea, for learning how to use LabView, just mess around with it. Look at the examples given. You should be able to get a basic grasp within a few hours.

As a guideline, any VI whose icon is half red and half blue diagonal is considered a team VI. It was copied from a template and it is entirely reasonable to modify these. If you find yourself modifying a VI with a different icon, you may very well be modifying part of WPILib or part of an example. Its is yours to change, so the editor will support it, but you may want to rethink your approach since this shouldn't normally be necessary. If you decide it is definitely necessary, you may want to Save As... to make your own version under a new name and save it with your files.
