New logo:

Old logo:

What do you think about the change? The new logo takes on the new NASKCOrpion name that we are using with this year's robot. We are still using the old design, just curious about the new one. New design is the NASKCO just for the schools. NA for NAmpa High School (the red bulldog). SK for SKyview high school (the blue hawk). CO for Columbia High School (the yellow wildcat).

[EDIT] HEY!!! TO ALL THAT WERE WAITING, THE VIDEO WILL BE UP TONIGHT, I HAVE THE FOOTAGE OF THE TUBE SHOOTING!!! YAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A little update to everyone that has been following our progress:

We took the rear drive motors off and put them on the brushes so that we can get more torque out of the final ball launching area, this now makes our robot 2 wheel drive but still four wheel steering.

We are currently building an extension piece to go on the tip of the tube so that we can get more reach on the shooting. We are setting up our programming so that we can go anywhere from sitting right on top of the trailer and barely drop the balls in to shooting around 10 feet.

Our new site too... It is pretty good for two website designers that have never done anything related to websites before four weeks ago...

for all of those people that wanted to see the 4-wheel steering 4-wheel drive in action. This video is somewhat outdated due to the fact that we are now only 2-wheel drive, but the results are very similiar. Good luck to all teams.

I know that it is blurry, it was taken on my cell phone.

We mentors, teachers and students have been working to a tight schedule.

Hopefully we can get the steering problem fixed right after breakfast tomorrow morning.

Does that mean you built a practice robot or you keep it out of the crate and put in your 40 lbs?

I am not sure what you mean. But, our final robot was our prototype. After seeing everyone build their prototypes out of wood, we think we should do that next year. Then we can get some immediate results, instead of waiting for the final package to be finalized.

Here is our Team with our robot, the Skorpion. (not everyone is present)

And here is picture of our students teacher, the team coach with our robot on the night before it had to ship. Everything came together at the last moment......thanks to everyone involved!:D
