Joystick Button Motor!!! HELP!!!

i want to program a motor to run forward when i push a button on the joystick and to run backwards when i push another button on the joystick. i'm not sure how to do this or where to begin. will somebody please help me?

LabVIEW or C++?

Look at the bottom of the screen. There are similar threads listed. One of them probably has the answer you seek.
