Running camera code wirelessly
Hi, We have only tested the camera code on tether and we were suprised that when we ran the code out of the box as a stand alone application, the gimbal no longer tracks the goal. When tethered, the code runs fine, but wirelessly the code doesn't work. We made no modifications to the code to run it wirelessly just to keep troubleshooting simple.
Is there modifications that need to be done to the code to make it work wirelessly? Thanks! |
Re: Running camera code wirelessly
That is surprising. Do any of your other actuators (motors, relays, servos) work wirelessly? What does the Driver Station show for the battery voltage? What is the state of the Robot Status Light? It might be that the robot isn't getting communication and is disabling its outputs.

Re: Running camera code wirelessly
Yes, we have been developing our own code for the motors and actuators for the past few weeks and we have tested the code wirelessly. I'm baffled by this.

Re: Running camera code wirelessly
If you aren't going to answer my questions, I can't help you.
Note that I asked, "Do any of your other actuators work wirelessly?" Not did. Right now, while your camera servos are failing to move using a wireless connection, do motors work? |
Re: Running camera code wirelessly
I don't think I tested to see if the motors are working with the camera code. I'll run that test and see what comes up.
