cRIO "Magic" Values: Unresponsive Driver Station

We have an odd problem where occasionally we don't get any feedback from the cRIO, and the joystick gives us unchanging, meaningless values. We have to continually reinstall the firmware on the Driver Station, but the problem keeps creeping up.

Any thoughts?
