Joystick values out of range

We recently have been getting a 'fatal error' with our code. It has recently popped up, and I'm not sure why. The error is something along the lines of "Joystick values out of range", which is very strange. Does anyone know what this problem is and why it is happening? I can't imagine it's my fault (when is anything the programmer's fault?).I'm pretty sure the WPILib does clamping of these values itself.

Actually, now that I think about it, the problem could be because joystick input isn't being sent to the driver station at all and it's being forced to try to do calculations with INF or NaN. Strange, the joysticks are all plugged in.

Has anyone else had a similar problem?

EDIT: It was just a stupid mistake. I called GetRawAxis(7) on accident. I was trying for GetRawButton(7). Darn autocomplete!
