Wow, I really like how the straight the shooter shoots. Looks like a lot of fun.

One question though, why does it jerk back and forth? Does that have to do with the auto targeting?

The camera was getting confused with the lighting in the building as it was much brighter than where we build our bot.

Those shots weren't camera controlled, they were manual. As Wayne said, the lighting was completely different then the shop, messing the camera up. So I switched to manual mode and shot the balls that way. Afterwards I adjusted the brightness for the camera so we could do the promotional video.

As for the jerkiness, that was before I implemented a Proportional control for the turret. Now it's nice and smooth.

DUDE! most of my team and alot of kids from my school believe that is THE MOST EPIC robot we have seen this year!!! :yikes:

What was the final count on number of rivets? How close was the winning guess?

The final rivet count was........Drum Roll........................2395 :ahh:
The winning guess was 1799
