programing motor with axis

Hi, I want programing one motor only move with joystick up/down, my question is for conecting motor with axis, is open motor jaguar with get speed and get speed conecting to joystick get and in joystick get is axis (X) only for up/down...

Axis 1 is the X axis, moving left/right.
Axis 2 is the Y axis, moving forward/back.
Axis 3 is the Z "throttle" axis.
