Team 100 2009

Presenting the "Luna-Beast"

Video.

-14 ball capacity
-Fires a "round" of 10 in 1 second.
-Floor pickup
-PS loading hopper
-Can hit targets 0-4 feet away.
-Adjustable eyebrows. :)

No more epic 16' uber-shots. It wasn't practical and we couldn't aim :( We re-geared the shooter for short-range.

I love your robot. I think it's the super cool cocking action of the magazines that really does it for me. You guys should definitely be a force to be reckoned with.

6 weeks. 10 Minutes. Team 100.

A nice video summary of our entire build season.

If its too boring, skip to the end to see our cool/innovative camera aiming system. :)

Nice TM-1.

Hopefully it works better than the lemon we got.

Very impressive guys. I was a big fan of your 2008 robot, but this one is even more slick.

Ironically, none of the robot parts were made on that machine. The entire robot was manufactured on the Industrial Hobbies Mill (the little blue one you saw).

We only got air hooked up to our school shop at the last week of build. So we couldn't operate the pull-bar on the Hass.

What was so lemony about it? If its a lemon, we'll just have to fix it ourselves. It wouldn't be the first time we rebuilt a CNC machine

What a coincidence! It so happens that I was a big fan of your 2008 robot! :) Who'd have thought?

Just about everything. We have a VF-1 and it's had about 10 service calls. Spindle replaced under warranty, oil leaks during warranty, we've had 2 gearboxes replaced this month, need a third one shortly. There's really not a lot you can fix yourself-everything is proprietary and Haas won't sell you the parts directly-you have to go through a HFO and have them install it for you.

Incidentally, why is your RSL flashing?
