1622 and Team San Diego on Fox 5 SD
 

Team 1622's robot along with members of Team San Diego were featured on the morning news Tuesday. The San Diego area has worked up a lot of press coverage for FIRST, with press day at our pre-ship event last Sunday, and video spots on the news. There will also be radio and video interviews of students and mentors prior and during the regional events.

Congrats on getting media attention, way to continue Deans 2008 HW. How did they get involved btw.

All of the press in the area is arranged by Team San Diego, a coalition of all the area teams. I know they did the same ship day morning news last year also. Team San Diego also organizes a pre-ship event for the Saturday-Monday prior to ship each year, as well as arranges for teams and robots to be at all the local fairs and trade shows in the county.
