I really hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if those IFI chassis rails came from a previous kit of parts, they are not legal according to the following Q&A: http://forums.usfirst.org/showthread.php?t=11616.

IFI has the various "predrilled" C channel, Angle, and Gussets on their website as a COTS product that any team can purchase.

And the GDC has ruled that you have to purchase them if you use them. Not sure how they are going to enforce that, but teams will need to follow anyway.

I'm not sure how they would do that either, asking to see an invoice maybe?

Anyway it looks that you guys can pick up from the floor lifts with that conveyor, and puts them on a helix, after that I'm not sure what it does from the picture.

As for the IFI rails, I'm sure we'll be alright, it actually only has 2 on it now, the rest has been either switched with something lighter or has become unneeded due to lighter design changes. Worst case scenario, we can switch them with something else.

As for the bot, the conveyor lifts the balls, then the wheel at the top fires them into or out of the robot. If they roll into the helix, they go to the bottom where there is an actuator waiting to push them back into the conveyor. Then they can be fired out.
