Jersey permit test

I'm a sucky test taker usually cuz I over analyze questions. Today I'm taking the written part of my permit test. And since I know I over analyze questions, I'm extremely nervous right now. Can anybody help give me tips or any help at all on calming my nerves please?

If you don't pass, so what? You study some more and take it again later.
If you take the time to over analyze which exit to take from the highway, you will never get off, so know before you go.

Good luck!

If I'm nervous, "Cola" calms me down. (Pepsi > Coke, but that is another discussion all together.) But I've been told I'm a weird one. Or something to fidget with. Try talking to your teachers at school, they may have better test taking tips then we do and they are there to help you.

Can you take it at online? I took my Florida Permit Test online, at home. It was defiantly more comfortable then going to the DMV. All I had to do was print out the results and bring them with me.

Now THAT is cool. Here in Minnesota, you still have to take it there.

I'm going to the driving school to take it. My school offers Drivers Ed to juniors, and I'm a sophomore and wasn't able to get into the Health 11 class.

Thank you everybody for giving me tips!!! Between all of you posting on here and my family members, it's helping a lot. Let's just hope that I pass it today! :)

So when do you find out??

I found out yesterday after I took the test that I passed the written part. I still have to drive for 6 hours to get the permit, but I'm doing that during the week after the second week of regionals. :)

You have to drive for 6 hours? Wow, you'll be hungry by the end of that. And probably you'll have to use the bathroom.

6 hours? No problem - two trips to the store during rush hour in bad weather ought to take that long. :ahh:

I have a friend who gets tired when drinking coffee and coke. And I also, am glad I can take permit test online, only a month now. I better start studying (but honestly probably won't until the night before :p ).

Those 6 hours are done over a period of (usually) 3 days... mixture of all the different types of crazyness you'll experience on the WONDERFUL Jersey roads... as well as the WONDERFUL Jersey drivers :P lol. It's fun!!! :D

That really made me laugh.

Congrats! Good luck when your road test comes around. Don't be like me--when you do the stop sign part, wait like ten seconds before going. I only stopped long enough to look both ways without hanging out to see the sights, and I failed for "running the stop."

Learning to drive in Jersey isn't as bad as they're saying! I find that every state has its own version of scary driving, so stick with the scary driving you're used to.

Yea, it's 6 hours over the course of 2 days for me. 10 and 11 of March. On the 11 of March I get the permit. :)

And thanks :) I take my road test in September on my birthday, which hopefully will mean that I'm getting a great birthday present....meaning my license. Haha.
