Wiring an Analog Sensor to Drivers Station

In order to wire an analog sensor to the drivers station, in this case a potentiometer, do I need any type of resister between the sensor and the drivers station.

Thank you for any help you can provide,

A pot is a variable resistor, so no you do not need another resistor as part of the wiring.
+5v to one end, ground to the other end, and signal to the wiper.
