actually most of them look to be the skeleton crew of team 418 at the Dallas regional, in fact this is everyone who was not in the pit crew!

I dunno, it looks like they have a pretty good view. Plus, maybe they like the air up there. Pure, thinner, lighter...

Also in the picture is Johnny, one of the members from 2468 who we (418) worked with when scouting. It was great working with all of the 2468 scouts, and I look forward to doing so again at Lone Star. I have some big plans for LSR scouting...

Yes, the view was excellent from up there. Plus, the hot air from the heaters in the arena collected up at the top and kept us quite warm.

You're in Dallas, how cold could it be?

The weather was WET and in the Low 40's all weekend, it made it miserable for all teams to load and unload for the pits. But everyone pulled it out.

We had that weather that seeps into your bones kind of wet/cold for a few days in parts of Texas, including Dallas, Austin, San Antonio. Nasty.

Hope all the teams made it back home safe.
