Thanks to 100 and 675!

Team 987 would like to thank our alliance partners for putting up a heck of a battle in the eliminations of SVR...we sure came close to playing for the banner and you guys were awesome! It's your turn to come visit us now...

Re: Thanks to 100 and 675!

Thanks, it was an awesome alliance.

We were very impressed with the High Roller's robot and team. Good luck in Las Vegas!

675 scored some big points. I'm sure you'll do great in Davis. I wouldn't be surprised if we team up again!

Sory we couldn't have led you guys to the finals. We need to perfect our traction control :( Too many times pinned, too many times scored on :(

Las Vegas has been on the agenda for a few years now. If we can convince a few more students to fly next year we might make it. We'll contact team 8 and see how much it costs.

Almost forgot the videos!
We uploaded all the matches to youtube.

I was ecstatic when we got picked, then I looked who we were against in the QFs, we really thought we had a chance against you guys but wow, right after you beat us my first thought was they can easily go all the way.

Amazing alliance

Thanks for uploading those videos Hachiban!

Joe,
A pleasure to see you and your team again.
Your alliance outplayed ours.
We are now working on getting a new and improved lazy susan which broke down again against you guys. Having no turret really made it tough on our driver.
It was pretty hilarious seeing about 40 ball bearings on the floor after the first match.
I dont understand why they would put that in the KOP if its NOT durable at all. Even your Belt Bearing sponsor who specialized in that came to our pit to tell us it was made for tables, NOT robots........hehe.

Good luck in Vegas, not that you need it.

I couldn't figure out why I was finding ball bearings all over the field in Portland two weeks ago... NOW I know where they come from... probably NOT from 359 but from someone's lazy suzan...

It was probably ours.
We had some in the pits in Portland after the eliminations also.
We had to swap out and remove the top half of our robot multiple times and it became a pain. SVR had some serious bumping and pinning compared to Portland. I saw no other team using it and have yet to see a team that did.
