Well, at the 2007 VA state fair, since we couldn't pick up tubes off the floor, we borrowed one from another team- on the other alliance.

Last year, at BMR, Team 931 knocked an opponents trackball off the rack and had their trackball replace it at the same time :ahh:

That was an amazing shot. I remember the crowd erupting when it happened.

we were in the quarter finals for the second round after beating our opponents once and we were about to beat them again and time was almost out and our alliance was cheering and then one of the opposing teams on the red alliance threw a supercell and it bounced off of the floor into one of our alliance team's trailer and got counted =/

In Portland, we were losing by 16 points with 10 seconds to go.
Then for some reason, the opposing teams trailer makes a 90 degree turn right in front of our HP. Our HP throws BOTH supercells into the trailer and we win by 14. Without both of them we would have LOST!
EPIC!!!!

There was a match in the elimination rounds at BMR (can't recall what teams were involved at the moment) and the one alliance accidentally scored a supercell on themself. That was really lucky for the opposition.

Yeah... it was rather unlucky, it was the third match of the finals- winner take all. With 234, 45, and 461 leading by about 12, the 234 guy had a bad bounce off the other trailer and landed it in thier own. Needless to see- big upset and they ended up losing by 3.

I felt so bad for him, he has to be one of the best human players in the country. Mark my words, keep your robot far away from him in Atlanta.

Yeah, I did too. But I was still glad to see the upset come to be. Nothing against 234 or 45, they are both awesome bots. But with them already going to Atlanta, I found myself rooting for the underdogs.

I was rooting for the upset too. We went down to be behind the drivers to support them. When they won the second finals match Molly from 292 screamed so loud and high I'm sure several glasses broke :) When they won the last match Ben from 1024 hugged me so hard I think he broke two of my ribs.
