2199 appreciates the love from looking forward. We will do our best to earn it.

One Giant Post for LF!:D

I copypasta the post into Word and ran word count. Results: 5,354 words, 24,885 characters w/o spaces. Impressive! Good thing the tipsters turned out in droves this week.

Too bad for the viewers out there that Philly will still not be webcast (at least not that I have heard of). Lansing should be amazing to watch, I will try to catch a round or 2 Friday night.

*67 and 1747 have ties

971 is 12-0-3.

Wining is easy. Ties take a lot of work. :)

How many balls does the average team hold before scoring their balls into the opposing alliance's trailor? Although some bots look like they are holding a lot, if you take a closer look, it is simply the design of their bot which makes them look like they hold more than they actually do.

Although our robot looks very small compared to the competition and it has been stated that the lack of ball capacity will be the death of us, we in fact can hold up to 18 balls. We have held 18 balls before which can all be scored under two seconds.

Team 2068 is surprised to be mentioned again in a LF post, and is looking forward to tomorrows practice rounds.

Sweet! We weren't mentioned for the first time! :yikes: Maybe we'll do good!

My favorite part is my team has competed weeks 1 and 3, and we've been mentioned very briefly in week 2 and week 4 lol

Sorry.

1726 is GOOD! they act as a short range turreted dumper, and work pretty well. Shooting 15 balls in 4 seconds on video isn't bad.

Bah, no mention for 1075 at Waterloo either. As the 4th most mature team there, thought we might get mentioned, however, the fact that nobody (outside of our team, and a few members of 1547) know anything about what our bot looks like, I can't say I'm surprised. It should be interesting, thats for sure, i'm interested to see what we get out of 1565.

It seems like all of the more famous Canadian teams (1241, 1503, 188, 771, 772, and more) all elected to go with Rochester over Waterloo this year. (perhaps because of Waterloo's conflict with March Break?)

T-about 7 hours to pit open, i think.

HOT is not only in the discussion for the best team in Michigan, but the best team in FIRST so far in 2009. 67 will try to defend their undefeated record just a week after they last took the field. They did need support from the 217 to overcome the strong defensive efforts in the eliminations last week, so there's no guarantees here. Expect an even better individual performance out of HOT, but a loss or two during qualifications. They should be invited to the #1 alliance, and should reach the finals for the second straight week.

HOT is flattered :)

I've been doing robotics in AZ for 10 years and actually helped build the 1492 machine and probably couldn't have summed up the AZ regional better myself.

The breakup of team 64 and Glenn Thoroughman leaving team 60? That was eerie.

If they have another scoring machine and use their super cells effectively, they could go even further, and potentially grab gold.

624 was First seed at Bayou. Lets see if they can pull for the gold
