Problems with Dean's homework
 

I was able to register and they sent me the email saying it all went through. But I can't view anybody's profile. I've tried all my mentors that are on there as of tonight, and every time I click on their name, I get a "This person doesn't have a profile" message on my screen. Is anybody else having that same problem? :ahh:

Yeah, I saw that too, so I emailed them about it. But, I haven't gotten a reply explaining why this is...

Also, Germany has -1 members. I think its just a matter of its a new site, and has bugs that need to be fixed. Maybe we should give them a mix of time to fix the site, and reminders that they have some problems. Because, maybe they haven't caught the problems yet...

It could also just be that the site hasn't updated quite yet. With all the information it's been getting, it could just be bogged down.

Ok, so I'm not the only person who is experiencing problems. that makes me feel some better. I had sent them a message saying I was having problems cuz I wasn't sure if I had entered something in wrong or not. The weird thing is that the team coordinator for my team said that everybody should have gotten a notification or something to connect to her page, but from what I can tell, I'm the only student from my team who is on there and I haven't gotten a notification yet.
Thanks for telling me you hadn't been able to see anything either. :)

Is it possible that the person whose name you entered has to create the profile themselves?

This is just a stab in the dark since I haven't been to the site yet, but it could be some sort of verification check to prevent erroneous data or ballot-stuffing into the database.

I'll go to like, the New Jersey group and click on my mentors that I see right there that I know have a profile and it brings me to their page. Now I just can't connect to them. It's getting VERY annoying now.

Yeah, they responded to my contact us and explained that they were trying to make it so people could only see people's profiles if they were 18 or over. It seems as though they're adding features as they go. So, I'd say give them time... but if theres something wrong, that might not be apparent maybe they need to be notified.
