Speaking of PINK at Denver. They took the robot apart before putting it in the crate. But they had 2 full weeks to work with their practice robot, so I'm sure Andy got the programming kinks out, the shooter will probably be working as well, because they took that back to put on the practice robot (I think, don't quote me on taking the shooter into withholding). Their camera code will most likely be insane now. And the LED sensors I think were working at Florida. Because they finished their practice robot the morning before they left for the regional (I think he said 4 am), they did not have time to work on it. Then they spent all day Thursday putting the robot together. They're autonomous should also be better. They will be hugely better in Dallas.
O and 2007, they only played their last 3 matches (from what I'm told), and they were allagainst us, 744 Shark Attack. Because they had lost all of their matches beforehand, and then we pushed them into the rack, and the rack was moaved about 2 feet every match, they ranked 51 out of 51, then got into the semi-finals and place second at championship.

1902 will be looking for a win there.

They have a decent robot and some hard-knocks practice already at the Florida Regional. Good luck to 1902 and all the teams at CT.

The only thing about the triplets is that their hopper store three balls across and shoots one at a time. They implemented an agitator, but from I've seen it is very slow. Great design and wonderful potential, just a few bumps in the road. (Reminds me of our team in the past:o )

The Space Cookies have larger offensive potential (can score 7-10 balls pretty consistently) than 852, but their defensive abilities are their biggest feature. Both of these teams will likely be early-mid 2nd round selections, but will depend heavily on their scoring partners in the eliminations.

Thank you for the compliments!
Just a heads up for everyone, 1868 has upgraded our robot to a power dumper. We've added a conveyor similar to 2854's. At Davis, we will be able to score consistenly and often with our new system of moving the moon rocks to our upper hopper!
See you soon!

I'm sure you're talking about us right? Lol its CRyptonite, but you were close! Yeah don't worry you will definitely see us there on Friday and Saturday with our hair spiked and colored, but due to costs of materials we have stopped doing other team's hair, sorry :/. However, we DO color eliminations partners' hair, so you never know!

Once again, good luck to everyone at LSR!

Thanks for all the compliments from, and on behalf, of 399.

Alliance selection is our top priority this time. We have some -crazy- at least for us, scouting. We can't wait....

Can't wait.....

Wish us luck =x

i'd like to say good luck to my old team, 2046 Bear Metal, in Seattle. no one ever seems to see them coming ;) they were finalists in Portland... i can only hope they have as good of a showing this week.

i'd also like to say good luck to all the rookie teams attending the event. i know there sure is alot of them.

2854 is honored to be featured in your predictions. Hope to see everyone tomorrow at Davis :) We could not have gotten where we are without help from 254 and 1868.

We see you guys coming! Over other teams, it seems like 2046 really gets its legs during the quals which is tough, but they always become quite strong by the end of the event. We wanted to get them on our alliance but they got picked up before we had the opportunity. I hope to actually get to play with 2046, somehow it seems we manage to miss out of playing with them at the past couple events.

24 rookies at MSR I believe. Good luck to all of them. It should be an exciting and eventful weekend in the pits!

488 and 2046 would be a scary alliance. I'd really like to see as many Washington teams in the elims as possible :)

Yes. Gunn got their robot back from SVR last Friday, then decided to attend Hawaii and had it shipped to Hawaii the same day.
Some of our teammates hung out with them since yesterday and we saw their robot make it safely here as we setuped the field today.
It'll be interesting to say the least, with only 2 teams from the mainland last year, participating again here.
We certainly hope to get out of the first round of elims this time around as we have made the finals at least once every year, except '06. As the coach, I will make sure a penalty from our alliance doesnt stop us this time around. ;)

As for a comment on the Seattle regional, we have seen almost all of the teams mentioned by LF. I disagree on one point, as IMO, the best team at the event will be 1983. They have by far, the most consistent robot, and they drive better than anyone else in the pool. They will either be a #1 seed and/or selected as the 1st pick by the #1 seed. The other teams were great potential bots that can unload a truckful, but can be stopped with proper defense at times.

Calling 195 to win CT with 228. Hope that happens.

Hoping big things for 1323 and 1458 at Sac. Good luck you guys.

Now I'm dying to know who contributed that quote about us! LF truly has eyes everywhere. We did have minor jamming and electrical problems at SVR that should be taken care of by the (yes, significant) upgrades we have planned.*

Team 766 is thrilled to be mentioned, of course. We'd like to think that we have potential too

Some Davis-bound teams that should also have been noted include 604 with their respectable shooter, 701 (home from Boston??) who always produces a strong robot, 668 with their cleanly designed conveyors (something about them seems familiar...), and definitely our neighboring Palo Alto team 8 for their reliable defensive play.

See you all later today!

P.S. * = Thanks are in order to Team 100 for the gift of a Toughbox that we hope to install as part of the improvements.

P.P.S. Oh, and Hachiban - have fun sleeping in. I'm already up...
