Autodesk Seminars at the Palmetto Regional

At the Palmetto Regional Team 342 & BAE Systems are hosting 3ds Max & Inventor seminars Friday & Saturday.

They'll be introductory sessions aimed at total newbies and workshops where teams can bring their files, discuss ideas & solve problems.

Nothing fancy; just a computer, projector and a few chairs tucked away in a (hopefully) less-noisy part of the arena.

If you're interested stop by the Team 342 pit or the Palmetto registration table for a seminar schedule & sign-up sheet.

I was only able to attend one workshop, but I did learn a few new things. I thought it was great how you guys acted out your safety animation first. I was also surprised that the ink and paint texture was used for your characters in the safety animation. I wish more regionals could have similar workshops. This and the championship at Atlanata are the only two places where the animators got together other than for judging each others' animations.
