I would have thought that members of Pink know that wearing thunderchickens neon green would still interfere with the camera! :p

[Australian voice]Crikey! It's the illusive ThunderChickens in their natural habitat, the FIRST competition. From what I hear, there very territorial, I hope I haven't overstepped my boundaries![/Australian voice]

That's hilarious! Too bad not one of the people pictured is, or ever has been, a ThunderChicken. I guess that's what we get for copying Pink's 2006 robot design.

Real ThunderChickens have better hair - and better legs!

I would have thought the Floridians would have been a little more afraid of the white stuff.

I would say just a bunch of "snowbirds" late for the trip south.

Yeah except almost all of the kids on the team has never seen snow. They were hoping for snow, but not this.

I did a double take with this picture and was surprised to see them pull this prank off.

Front Row: Marian Passmore
Back Row: Kit Gerhert, Michael Parker, Michael Dininny, Ryan Julian

I didn't even notice the pink hair until I read that and checked the pic again, Gabe. That's kind of amusing actually. Btw, the few of you here that were at Colorado this weekend, kudos, and thanks for an excellent time. I don't know if I can speak for my whole team, but at least for me, it was a rookie year to remember. Massive almost instantly melting snowfall and all.

I'll trade my snow (all 100 + yearly inches of it) for your year long sun any day!

What kind of mad scientist would I be if I brought 100 + yearly inches of snow to Florida? Hmmm.....I'll take it!

You every wonder why so many New Yorkers move to Florida? Because there is no snow. Snow might be amusing the first time you see it or when your under 12 and you don't have to shovel it, drive in it or worry about it. One little snow flake is pretty and cute. A swarm of millions shuts down cities and make people move to warmer climates.

The same can be said for Indiana. Though, your post made me think...you didn't have to shovel until you were 12? I was shoveling before I was 10. I just had to make 5X as many trips into the house for hot chocolate.:D

Ed, shhh! No one is going to want to live here if you describe them as "swarms of millions". Then I won't be able to con anyone from warmer climes to swap with me. You'll get us both stuck here in the frigid north!

Hey, at least your weather isn't as bizarre as it is in Colorado. Out here, you expect snow in winter, but don't get any until spring. Then, something happens like at the regional where it dumps a ton of it, cancels stuff, and then melts by lunchtime the next day because it's gone and turned sunny and warm out of nowhere. I spend so much time trying to figure why the weather here is so screwy....

The regional champ there should be the one who figures out why that happens.

Get that in Rapid City, too. Last day of classes last year was called off due to a blizzard. It was gone to the point where you could have classes by noon the next day. We also get some days in the 60s and above in the "spring" area of "winter"...

Lol, I guess that means me, my team, 399 and 1332, doesn't it? Maybe between all of us we'll finally get it eh?

Wow, that is just as screwy as ours is. Show's what I know about weather in states that aren't California, Florida, or Colorado....
