This year, my team sadly didn't qualify for Championships. But, my parents surprised me and they are taking me!!! :D

So, if you see me walking around, I'll be wearing my 1525 t-shirt, one of the 2007 game pieces **probably red**, and **hopefully** my 1525 plasma cut belt, feel free to adopt me for a bit! I'll cheer for you or take pictures or join you in scouting or whatever!

So look for me and GO TEAMS!!!! :D

Team 399 would love to have you cheer with us and hey if you want to come to Roboprom Thursday night we would love to have you there too! This way you can meet with a large amount of students from other teams.

Hi Michelle,

Please tell your parents how awesome they are! I'm excited for you, I hope you have a great time at the Championship. Unfortunately, I will not be making it this year, but I know there will be lots of friendly people on 1124 who would love to meet a new face. Actually, I'm pretty sure anyone at the Championship would be happy to temporarily adopt you, that's the beauty of FIRST. It's a great atmosphere. Enjoy!

You could also consider spending a day trading your team shirt for a white Lunacy shirt with "Crew" written on the back. FRC or FTC or FLL.

Same invite to you! Friday night our team is really big into strategy and analyzing our scouting info. I'm sure another tactician would be welcome!

I'm glad to see that so many people and teams are going to 'adopt' you.

A word to the wise: if KathieK sees this and offers to adopt you for the day, turn her down - unless, of course, you like to run around in circles, talk to a kazillion people at one time, and don't know if you are coming or going. If you don't mind any of that, by all means, be Kathie's buddy for the day.

Oh, she wears funny shoes, too. You would log some serious miles keeping up with/walking with her. I think she kept track with a pedometer last year. The distance covered was astonishing.

By all means, come visit 1923 and say hi!

Although, if you are coming down to the Championship teamless, consider volunteering- it's certainly worthwhile, you'll get to talk to lots of people, and you'll be helping FIRST out. (oh, and some wicked awesome free food!) It's a win-win, right?

I too will be down in Atlanta without a team. I will be inspecting robots Thursday and hanging out Friday.
NE1 want to adopt a 53 year old kid.
I got a Media Pass and would love to take pictures of your team (and bot), and your team and that team over there....:D
